AAP Project 2
We had to do a photo montage on either Changes and some other topics. We were supposed to pair up with one of our classmate and pick one of the topic to do a photo montage on it. I paired up with Boshen and decided to do the montage on Changes. We thought hard for something that is presentable and we stopped at Changes in Maturity. It was Boshen who came up with the brilliant idea. He told me that we could show a young and immature face and what that guy does and after a while, a matured face and what he does. I agreed and we started our work. I drew the storyboard and gave some ideas while Boshen did the photography and compiling work. We used some of our classmates as "stars"(Thanks guys! if you read this). Soon, we got them done and itwas supplemented with a powerpoint with desciptions and explanations of the camera angles. Our montage was good and it also felt good to see it being presented in front of the class.

Favourite Poem
Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening by Robert Frost
Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village, though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.
My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.
He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound's the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.
The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village, though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.
My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.
He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound's the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.
The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

Animal Farm
We studied on Animal Farm recently. I just read the book and found my reading very enjoyable. The book was very organised and it kept me reading on. It was about Communism when the animals rebelled against their farmers and started a new "civilisation". As the pigs were the most intelligent animals among them, they assumed the role of leader which was not what they planned earlier. Soon, the pigs elected a leader, Napoleon among themselves and he became a dictator. He was a tyrant and he treated the rest of the animals(except pigs) with cruelty. Later, he became aomething like a crossbreed between man and pig. He had adopted man's evil vices. I love the book and I enjoyed it very much. I chose to do a Chapter 11 for the book( it only has 10 chapters) as an ace project. Of course, I enjoyed doing it as well, as I further developed the story.

Tuition @ Delta Avenue
I went to the "tuition centre" at Delta Avenue to tuition the kids there. The kids there usually come from broken families. They were sent there by their parents. Although some of the kids are quite vulgar, we have to understand that their hearts had been hurt when they were very young. Anyway, Xincheng and I were assigned to a kid that is studying Primary 3 currently. We were supposed to teach him English. However, that kid was really smart, he could understand and apply everything that we taught him. He was also very co-operative, making our tuitioning session a very enjoyable one. I had learnt several new things during this mere 2hour session. This also remind me and stopped me to wonder about my childhood. To sum it up, I enjoyed my experiece there. I hoped the kids can have a happy and lively childhood before they turn into teenagers. Time flies!

AAP homework
This advertisemnt is captured by the long shot which shows the entire object in relation to its surrounding. It is also captured at quite a high position but it does not really qualify as a aerial shot. This advertisements want to show that Sony Vaio Labtops can connect any where even in a desolate place. This can be evaluated from its long shot showing the subject at a rocky place. It also uses the not really aerial shot to give us the impression that the connectivity of the labtop is very strong. Although the long shot isn't supposed to show the subject's expression, it can also show the emotions of the subject in relation to the surroundings of the subject. It also uses the zoom shot to isolate the subject from the surroundings making the surroundings slightly blurred up. This makes sure that our view is centred at the labtop and the subject.

Learner style
I found my learner style which is something like what you are gifted in, through a test. Sad to say so ,I am "gifted" in music. I do not really find that quite true as I do not really appreciate music or enjoy them in a way. I do not really excel in my Piano lessons, so I am wondering why I got this weird result form the test. I have to write 2 songs for my LA homelearning term1 as homelearning exercise. Somehow, I kind of enjoy my LA homelearning. I found it much more interesting and fun when compared to the other topics. Examples of the other topics are: Linguistic, Musical/Rhythmic(me), Interpersonal, Naturalist, Spatial/Visual, Intrapersonal, Bodily/Kinesthetic.
Most of the pupils in my class belong to Music/Rhythmic which is the same as me. Well, since I belong to this group, I might as well as try my best to excel in that area. Anyway, if I can choose, I will choose to be gifted in every of those groups. Hmmm, maybe I am a bit too greedy!

CCA: Volleyball
Volleyball is my first-choice CCA. Well, the main reason I chose it was that it can make people grow taller , as well as , grow fitter. During SOO'10 , my name was asked and I was contacted to come for trials. Anyway, Volleyball is a nice and good cca that bonds you with your team mates and trains teamwork. Although this CCA does not win much prizes or trophies, it's members work really hard and they are very commited. We train a total of 11hours per week under the hot sun at the the JC Basketball Court. This is why most of us are quite tanned. There are jumping exercises asnd many other ball-techniques taught. These are the main reason why most of the players are tall, quite flexible and their reaction are very fast. To sum it up, Volleyball is a funn CCA that has a lot of benefits.

LA Blog failure!!!
My LA blog had been banned by Blogger.com as they stated: Possible Violations of Service, Your blog has been commented as a spam blog . I sent a request to tell them that my LA blog was solely for educational purpose not for spamming or whatsoever. The same thing also happened to my IS blog. My request was not responded until a few days ago. They restored my access to both blogs and I, of course, immediately raced to continnue posting up the posts that I am supposed to post a week of a few days ago.
HCI Cross Country Meet
The Cross Country Meet is finally over and I ran 3km. It was a long and arduous run. I started from the last and came up not in the top 50 but I was still quite in front at the end of the jog. I saw some people dash and stop, dash and stop, repeating the process. I thought to myself, aren't they wasting their energy. They should maintain a speed and jog through out the whole course, not running and then walk. It was really fun to overtake people.(especially people you know!) There is a part of the road at the roadside which was quite boring. There are lots of trees over there. Therefore, it seems to take eternity to finish that part of the jog as we keep seeing the same scenary again and again. There are also many slopes, it was quite a sight to see the other students walking up the slope, then dashing down the slope at full speed with the wind howling at their face. The poor upper secondary had to run 1km more than the lower secondary. However, their results were brilliant as they managed to complete their run at a very fast speed. Anyway, this runs was overall a jolly-good one as it trains us to have the olympic spirit( Never Give Up)as well as, not yto cheat of course! I hope to have this run next year, though we may not have this run again, due to the construction of the Tan Kah Kee MRT Station.

Introduction
Well, I am from Hwa Chong Institution and it is a reall y big school, and i mean what i say. It is ten times bigger than a normal secondary school, but that's not why I am proud of being a Hwa Chongian. It pro vides us with a holistic education that nurtures us to be leaders in Industry, Research and Government. It is also one of the largest entry centre to Oxford University.
I am in a family of five , living in a five-room HDB flat. My family can be quite united and loving towards each other. My friends and them are my supporting pillars.
I had settled down in my school already and i found out that the homework load there is quite a lot and difficulty level there is much higher than the primary school level. Although I missed my Primary School times, I am also looking forward towards my Secondary School Days.

Flowers for Algernon
I am going to 'write' about the question of Charlie's determination to read and write from question 8. It is very great of him to pursue study though him being mentally-challenged. I got the information from progress report 9 April 3, showing that he wanted to be smart when he was awake, not when he was asleep. He even searched the dictionary for a word that he did not know. Although this is a simple action, not many people really do that .We also have a lot of things to learn from Charlie Gordon. Examples are :his desire to gain knowledge, him being hard-working andhis empathy towards people that are mentally challenged.
